For some time now, I have been wanting to brighten up my blog, but because of my technical abilities, I have put it off until tonight.
Some changes have been made and I hope they are to the good. I welcome your comments. I am making changes in my writing business as well. It is time to get it off the ground and move forward.
I look forward to getting back into the swing of things by Wednesday. Here are a couple of topics I am considering:
When Your In laws Have Keys to Your House
Lucky Juror Number 7
I received my juror pay today. The check was for $96. I must admit it was more than I had expected.
Write it down,
Carma
Carma, the template change is great. I had no problem with the last one until I see this one now. It's fresher, younger, more Web 2.0.
ReplyDeleteIs the RSS button new or fixed? (Fixed, I think) Whatever it is, I'm finally able to have you in my RSS feeder. Thanks.
Good looking blog :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carolyn and April for your comments.
ReplyDeleteThere really wasn't a problem with the old template, other than I thought it was too narrow.
This one is brighter and I like to use colors and pictures.
Lovely, Carma. I love it.
ReplyDeleteMy 2 cents: be careful about color. Too much is distracting. Different fonts and colors make the reader (me!) not know where to look first. Trust your words to convey the color.
Great work.
Looks nice and easy to read! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the "In Laws" having your house keys. The other article is interesting. :)
Question: is it all right to discuss jury duties in public? Just wondering.
Hello Bes,
ReplyDeleteYes, after a person has served on a jury, everything that was presented in court and/or discussed in the jury room is public record unless a judge orders records sealed, therefore there is no confidentially or legal issues to deal with.
Lisa I appreciate your 2 cents. After all it is the reader who is the important one in my book. (pun, pun) :)
Very nice new look! Crisp and clean and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new look and the $96 windfall!
Hey Phil,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. $96 may cover lunch in California. :)
