How To Make Money Writing How To's

Are you an article writer with all kinds of helpful hints but don't know how to organize them? Surf on over to 3Questions...and Answers blog and read her article "Website Wants You...to Write How-To" It is full of examples, a How-To template and well researched information.

In addition, check out her interview with Journalist/novelist Janice Harayda. A few good links are scattered through out plus you can go over to Janice's website and look around.

Write it down,

  1. Hi Carma,
What an excellent resource for us writers. I will go to her site and take a serious look. How To's actually fit right in with my documentation background.

  2. Hi Judy,
How to's are so easy but so difficult at the same time. I guess you could say they are an art. I want to look around her site too. I made her blog a favorite.

    Glad it was helpful.

  4. Hi Carma,

I too marked her blog as a favorite, but I think the blog you referenced (writing for ehow) is the same as the Demand Studios gig I got. So far, they have rejected all the titles I suggested, and the list of articles they recommend is bizarre. For example, "How to build a model jet airplane" or "How to become an air traffic controller in Pakistan."

The pay seems to be $15.00 for every article. I may propose one or two more ideas, then drop out.

  5. Hi Theresa,
I don't know about Demand Studios but I thought this link could be of help for ideas. What weird titles! A persohn would spend way more time than $15 worth coming up with something. I would toss it now.

    Thanks for your input.
