Velma Gratch & the way cool butterfly - Review

Friday is book review day. Today I have posted a picture book review at The National Writing for Children Center. Surf on over and read my review of Velma Gratch & the way cool butterfly.

While you are there check out all the other great posts.

Author: Alan Madison and Illustrator: Kevin Hawkes.

This is a cool book that kids will love to read. Follow Velma Cratch on her field trip to the Conservatory and find out how a small monarch butterfly transformed Velma into the talk of the school.

Write it down,
Carma

  2. Just too cute. Where do you find these adorable childrens' books? I always had to go to the book store in the old days.

  3. Hi Terri,
My grandkids loved this book too. The illustrations are a fantastic example of how illustrations bring the words alive in picture books.

  4. Hey Lisa,
I go to the library in the picture book section and just start looking at books. I am amazed at the quantity they have. The best part is there is no rush in choosing one book. I always take 3 or 4 at a time.
